Sonrise Church volunteers assist West Tuality in Home Repair Projects

On Saturday December 16th, 2017 local church members from Sonrise Church Forest Grove assisted West Tuality Habitat for Humanity Volunteers in working on some Critical Home Repair projects for local residents. 9 volunteers from Sonrise Church joined WestTuality Habitat staff members and volunteers as they worked on two local homes.

The volunteer group cleaned up leaves, insulated pipes and did minor roof repairs on a home in Cornelius, completing the repair projects on that home. They then went to a home in the Gales Creek area where they performed clean up activities in preparation for more extensive repairs to the home in some later stages of the Home Repair project.

The Habitat for Humanity Critical Home Repairs and Home Preservation program allows local Habitat for Humanity affiliates to provide repair and maintenance services to qualified families in the goal of keeping these homes in good repair and functional for the resident families.
