Who we are

West Tuality Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home in Western Washington County, Oregon. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities and is a foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty. We advocate for decent, affordable housing for all, and support the global community’s commitment to housing as a basic human right. We believe that every person has something to contribute and something to gain from creating communities in which all people have decent, affordable places to live. We strive to be wise stewards of all resources entrusted to us. We view our work as successful when it transforms lives and promotes positive and lasting change in the community.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community in western Washington County, Oregon to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Our service area includes Forest Grove, Cornelius, Gales Creek, Gaston, Banks, Timber, North Plains, Buxton and the surrounding area. Habitat homeowners partner with us to build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

From Habitat for Humanity International: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. Nor will Habitat work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with Habitat. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
