Volunteering on one of our committees is a great way to get involved with West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, learn more about our programs and services, and give back to our community. No hammer required!
Volunteer committees keep our work going! We need you and your input to help put together events, advocate for affordable housing in our community, accomplish our mission, and touch more lives.

These committees need you! We’re looking for more volunteers to join the following groups.
Faith Relations Committee
Are you a person of faith? Do you enjoy networking with interfaith communities? We are looking for 3-5 community members who are interested in helping West Tuality Habitat for Humanity connect with churches and other faith groups to foster collaboration in the delivery of our services for those in need in our community.
Commitment: 1 hour per month for committee meetings, may be more during certain seasons.
Public Relations Committee
Do you have experience in public relations, social media, or marketing? We are looking for 3-5 community members to help set goals and objectives and serve as a resource for West Tuality Habitat for Humanity marketing staff.
Commitment: 1 hour per month for committee meetings.
ReStore Committee
Do you love all things thrift? Upcycling and repurposing? Are you environmentally minded? Or have retail management experience? We are looking for someone like you to join our ReStore Committee. You will become part of our team dedicated to helping us acquire merchandise, develop new lines of business, and operate more efficiently.
Commitment: 1-3 hours per month for meetings. (This is a management think-tank and does not include working in the store.)
Golf Tournament Committee
Do you love all things golf and the idea of of using golf events to raise money for good causes? We host an annual Golf Tournament every year in early September. We are looking for community members who can commit to working seasonally to help plan and produce the event.
Commitment: Use your golf knowledge to help plan and produce the annual Tournament as well as be available day of event and for post event celebration and post-mortem.
Safety Committee
Do you have experience with a wide variety of aspects of safety management? West Tuality Habitat for Humanity operates retail space, warehouse, outside sales area, construction site, and clerical offices and is looking for Safety Committee members to assist in evaluating our operations, review safety policies and make recommendations if needed, and or change the use of safety equipment or workplace configurations.
Commitment: Quarterly meetings or more frequently if needed to work with staff members and other volunteers to accomplish these goals.
