On Sunday, June 2, West Tuality Habitat for Humanity held a home dedication and move in celebration for the VanLoo Family in Forest Grove, with about 60 people on hand for the event. U.S. Representative Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01), Andy Berke of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Andrea Bell of the Oregon Housing and Community Services and others joined representatives of both West Tuality Habitat for Humanity and Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity to celebrate federal support for home building in Forest Grove and for Tillamook’s retail operations and administrative offices and to discuss ways to address the affordable housing crisis in Oregon.
